Man scales Everest’s height to raise awareness on climate change
A man has completed an ascent equivalent to the height of Mount Everest, all in a bid to highlight the issue of climate change. Chris Horan, aged 44 from Corfe Mullen, Dorset, scaled a total of 8,849 meters (29,032 feet) over the span of 140 days, continuously raising over £1,700 for the environmental group Friends of the Earth.
