Renowned Ukrainian Musician Urged to Harm a TCC Representative

The Poltava-based musician and member of the rock band Burned Time Machine, Myroslav Shcherbak, made a controversial statement about representatives of the TCCC.

In a post on Instagram, he called on people to "attack and kill the TCCC." Furthermore, Shcherbak emphasized that he saw this as the duty of every Ukrainian.

"It is the duty of every Ukrainian to kill a TCCC representative. We shouldn't care whether they're in uniform or not. Just as we don't search for 'good Russians,' we shouldn't look for good TCCC personnel. We need to stand united and bring justice to this garbage," Myroslav wrote.

Interestingly, he later deleted the story from his account.

Response from Burned Time Machine

The band Burned Time Machine quickly issued a response to Shcherbak's words. The group remarked that he had made a catastrophic mistake and failed to grasp the consequences of his statements. As a result, they decided to part ways with him, stating the following:

"We are deeply sorry and ashamed, and we do not support Myroslav's statements. The band's position has always been clear – Burned Time Machine has consistently shown support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and participated in volunteer efforts since the very first days of the full-scale invasion (this includes Myroslav as well). Everyone makes mistakes, and we believe people deserve second chances. But it's up to you to decide if he deserves one. For us, the collaboration with this member ends here. The band should not bear responsibility for actions and words we do not align with."

As a reminder, a notable Ukrainian singer recently orchestrated a TCCC raid in central Lviv for publicity purposes.
