77-year-old Pugacheva candidly explained why she uses a cane
Renowned Russian singer Alla Pugacheva, who left the aggressor country at the beginning of the full-scale invasion together with her husband Maksim Galkin and their children and has openly distanced herself from the regime’s violent policies, has spoken about her health.
It is known that the 77-year-old performer is currently staying in Latvia. Recently, social media users noticed that Alla Borisovna was walking with a cane. This sparked concern among her fans, who assumed that the singer might be seriously unwell. However, she decided to personally clarify the situation.
According to Pugacheva, she indeed faced serious health issues and was almost completely immobile for four months.
“I was unable to move for four months because of a hip fracture. It was extremely difficult. I could have been bedridden for half a year,” Alla explained in a comment to Russian media.
The artist added that someone told her everything depended on her determination and inner strength. Taking those words to heart, she gradually began trying to walk again, using a cane for support.
“I slowly started getting back on my feet. Despite the pain, I began walking with a cane. Even now it still hurts, but step by step I’m moving forward. It was very hard to endure, but I pulled myself together. You have to be confident to withstand people’s reactions. Somehow, I feel calmer with the cane,” she said with a touch of humor.
Earlier, Alla Pugacheva also stated that she would be willing to visit Ukraine.
